Growth rate is the Queensland pricing variable that catches southern operators out. A per-cut rate that works in Melbourne can be badly wrong in Brisbane, and worse again in the tropics where wet season regrowth can double cycle frequency. Establish clearly whether the contract is per-visit or per-outcome, because a per-outcome specification during a wet summer transfers substantial risk to you. Plant establishment periods of twelve to twenty-four months also need explicit watering and replacement allowances, particularly given cyclone and storm loss risk in the north.

Materially. Wet season growth in South East and North Queensland can significantly increase required mowing frequency compared with southern states. If the contract is priced per visit with a fixed cycle you carry less risk; if it specifies a maintained outcome, you absorb the extra cycles. Read that distinction carefully before pricing.
